WELCOME
To Blue Ash Reflexology

Reflexology is complementary and holistic therapy.
It is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers to apply pressure to the reflex areas located on the feet, hands or ears which correspond to the different areas of the body.
A Reflexologist applies pressure to these reflexes and stimulates the nerve endings located in the reflex area. This sends neurological messages to the brain which then transfers the message to the area of the body that is out of balance or disturbed and triggers the body's own healing process in that area.
For example the brain alerts the immune system to respond to an infection.

Reflexology can provide relaxation and stress relief thus helping the body to restore and rebalance.

It gives the body and mind time to switch off and recharge.

Reflexology releases tension, aids sleep, provides relaxation, improves mood and promotes wellbeing and can be enjoyed by all ages.

Stress can lead to illness or make an illness worse.
Its important to take time out for ourselves and manage stress levels and the homeostasis of our bodies.
Reflexologists cannot diagnose conditions.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, it works alongside medical and therapeutic techniques and is not an alternative to medical treatment.
I work from my treatment room based in Hampton Lucy.
I can be mobile if you are unable to leave your home.

My Journey
Welcome, to Blue Ash Reflexology, my name is Vicky Bryson and I am a qualified Clinical Reflexologist. I gained my level 5 diploma in 2018 at the Contemporary Reflexology College. It was here I was trained to the highest level in the UK by Allison Walker. I have always wanted to help people, and after experiencing stress that has negatively impacted my mental and physical health in the past, this passion to help others has only grown.
I originally studied science and qualified with Bsc (Hons) Applied Biology in 1998 with the aim to go into research.
After qualifying in my Biology degree I returned home to help my father care for my terminally ill mother and also worked part time in a care home. During this difficult time, I had become increasingly interested in complementary therapy.
This led me onto wanting to qualify in Reflexology.
